Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival, Cycling, and Lodge Comfort (D)
Your adventure begins! Arrive at Cat Ba Eco Lodge (by your own arrangement or pre-booked transfer) between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
Afternoon: Self-Guided Cycling. Upon check-in, receive your Complimentary Mountain Bike for the afternoon. Cycle the local paths around Lien Minh Village and the National Park buffer zone.
Evening: At 6:30 PM, enjoy a delicious home-style Vietnamese dinner at the lodge restaurant.
Night: Prepare your gear for your challenging jungle trek tomorrow!
Day 2: Jungle Crossing & Viet Hai Homestay Immersion (B, L, D)
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the lodge.
08:00 AM: Check-out and Luggage. Please check out and store your main luggage at the lodge. You will only need a small day pack for the trek and your overnight stay at the homestay.
08:30 AM: Full-Day Jungle Trek. Meet your guide and begin your challenging trek across the National Park. Hike through dense jungle and passing old-growth trees before emerging near Viet Hai Village. A local lunch will be served in the village.
Afternoon: Arrive at the peaceful, remote Viet Hai Village and settle into your local homestay.
Evening: Enjoy an authentic, traditional dinner with your host family. Experience the unique tranquility of this isolated village deep within the mountains.
Day 3: Bay Cruise and Package Conclusion (B, L)
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the homestay (included).
08:30 AM: Transfer to the Bay. Say goodbye to your host family and walk or cycle from the village to the Viet Hai pier.
09:30 AM: Full-Day Lan Ha Bay Tour. Board your boat for a cruise through stunning Lan Ha Bay.
Activities: The tour includes cruising past majestic karsts, kayaking through hidden lagoons and archways, and plenty of time for swimming in pristine waters.
Lunch: A fresh seafood and Vietnamese lunch will be served on board the boat.
16:30 PM: Package Conclusion. The boat returns to the harbor at Ben Beo Pier. Your "Wilderness Trails" package concludes here as you move toward your onward destination.
info Important Transfer Information (Extra Cost)
- Luggage Retrieval: We will arrange to deliver your main luggage from the lodge to your final departure point at Ben Beo Pier.
- Pickup to the Lodge (Day 1): From Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba Town, or Tuan Chau Pier.
- Drop-off / Onward Travel (Day 3): Transfers from the conclusion point (Ben Beo Pier) to Hanoi, Ninh Binh, or airports.
